I am proposing an extension based on your development of other firefox extensions for the benefit of the entire firefox community. This proposed extension, compatible with firefox 3.5 and later, would be useful to at least two groups of people:

1) parents monitoring internet use
2) anti-phishing feedback while surfing




These two exetnsions

have the ability to show the current tab's URL host component:

both of those extensions show only the host part of
the URL and not the path part of the URL or protocol

Such an extension ideally would have the option to place the URL

1) as a prefix to the current title
2) as a prefix to the current title without session id strings


Either of the above as suffix instead of prefix

Seems to only be able to take what is already part of the page title and modify it. I do not believe this userscript the way it is now will work to show the current tab's URL as a title prefix.

No, I won't create such an extension in the near future. (I'm very busy at the moment.)
